514 Outfit Post – Filme Noir Newton warm up…
So a couple weeks ago I collaborated my makeup, style and body (tee hee) with a fabulous 514 photographer – André Barrette! I had been invited to an open studio shooting in the St. Henri quarter here in Montreal, so I packed up my ‘lil Samsonite with a few looks and arrived at what turned out to be a super fun, inspiring and awesome day!
André most definitely “got it” when I described my style and some of my photography preferences… We bonded over a love for the ingenious Helmut Newton and I felt completely at home making silly faces and playing around in and around the studio 
. I love that all these shots were taken in either hallways or stairwells with just a flash and camera. No crazy props, setups or get ups… just “au naturale”… well… of sorts I suppose…
Can’t wait to work with him again soon… oh the places we’ll go! Stand by though fellow blogites! The next few 514 Outfit Posts will be done by André’s photographing genius… oh the drama!

- MAC black track gel eyeliner
- MAC red lipstick – love the “old Hollywood” look it gives to the pics in black and white!
