A Behind the Scenes Look – Billie Boutique Blogger Photoshoot

Hey hey hey ladies and gentlemen!

So early last week (exactly the day after I got back from Toronto), the wonderful Billie Boutique here in the 514 on Laurier set up a very luxurious shoot for some of Montreal’s local fashion bloggers (I know right, how crazy lucky am I to get to take part in all this pampering)!

Super flattering, super glam… I mean, really… I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Montreal SPOILS their bloggers!!!

Headed by the beautiful Laure (center in the first pic), there were two shoots in two very different locations… each offering five star hair and makeup treatment by Sylva K!

In attendance (from left to right below) were Amélie Cousineau (our fab photographer), Annick, Cindy Lou, Isabelle, Laure and Sylva (Camille and I are not in this group pic – we shot on a different day)!

Anyhoo, our shoot was held in a gorgeous (huge) loft space right in the heart of St. Laurent… gorgeous open kitchen, rustic furniture and the biggest baby of a doberman I have ever met named Otto ;) .

Laure, the little Parisian food connoisseur spoiled us wholeheartedly with coffee, cupcakes and some delicious eats (too bad I already scarfed down so much before coming) :( … the cupcakes however… now who on earth could ever turn those down???

Here I am looking rather whiplashed from my crazy exciting MMVA weekend… please ignore the bags under my eyes…

Love this.  Love that the people who live here have a picnic table in their apartment even more.

Everybody was workin’!

Felt incredible to have MY makeup done for once… nice reversal of roles ;)

Gotta have the falsies… just gotta…

And let the awkwardness begin!!!  LOL… here I attempt some model poses… hope they turn out decent!

Hehehehe… I look so funny… inspecting Sylva’s touchups…

  • I totally agree with Emily! Please tell me how you can just keep going (and look so fresh and beautiful) after a full on week? I’d pay for that secret!! All models = stunning! And I wanna borrow the first model’s (Laure’s) amber pendant – beautiful. That is all ;) xxx

  • LOL… the funniest thing is that originally I was going to try and make it to this exact photoshoot from just getting off the plane the day before… I thought a morning off was resting…

    How do I keep going? Hmmmm… sometimes I have no clue. It does help when I get dressed up in a day. Usually the more put together I feel the more productive I am inspired to be…

    But my espresso machine def plays quite a huge role in my life… heeehe
