Weekend Walks & Eats
Just dropping in after a long afternoon walk with my love (all the fresh air has left me utterly exhausted!). Spent some time antique window shopping and picking up some delicious eats at the market (dinner is going to be marvellous). Enjoying the additional energy I’ve stored through the week to take care of my man and enjoy our time off together blissfully (not merely playing catchup with chores and errands). Officially 33 weeks pregnant today (baby boy is the size of a pineapple), feeling great (kind of not even preggo surprisingly), and soaking in down time and naps like it’s nobody’s business. Piccolo has been extra snuggly with me (she loves falling asleep with her chin on the bump), and I’m halfway through rearranging the closet and packing up clothes I never get around to wearing (space is of the essence!). Sweet baby boy is stretching out the best he can despite his lack of space, is already in position, and has dropped (we’re ready to go!). Trying to wrap my mind around the whole birthing experience and how I’ll end up managing. Have made peace with the fact that I have more than enough “stuff” for little one (nice to feel back to calm). Looking forward to getting spoiled by Mr. Postman next week – the bug’s crib comes in, alongside plant-based diapers for days, and some sweet gluten-free Wholefoods treats/cheese from the mom-in-law (yum!).
Have a beautiful Saturday night (spend it with someone you love!),
