514 Outfit Post – Falling For Fall & Old Navy’s Skinny Sale
There’s something about fall that sends me into a cleaning/cooking frenzy (between our place being up on the market and my organization impulses, it’s looking a lot like we currently live in an uninhibited – but homey – showroom). I can’t get enough of nesting at home and snuggling up/dozing off with my beau. On the same front, my body craves that cool crisp air (perfect for brisk walks with the pigs).
a few more things I’m currently indulging in (and can’t wait to) this season (inspired by Bleubird’s list)…
eating / sweet corn, ripe tomatoes, pumpkin pie, berry crumbles, buttered and broiled squash, organic sausages & goat cheese feta
drinking / espresso, earl grey tea & hot cocoa
practicing / organization, order, routine & consistency
mastering / lifestyle balance, vitamin popping & prenatal yoga
learning / hearty recipes & natural birth techniques
playing / voiceover laughs with the man & pugs chases
finishing / selling all the unnecessary material in my life
reading / the second half of The Cats Table by Michael Ondaatje
walking / along the water and through the downtown cores for grocery pickups
wearing / jeans, basic and loose t-shirts, blazers & boots
cooking / meals big enough for entire families, only for the two (well, three) of us
working / on updating all my personal and business paperwork & a long term blog calendar
traveling / within the neighborhood to meet friends and have meals with family
wanting / to save, simplify, and prepare for bebe!
doing / my pregnancy journal (documenting results, fist experiences, and notes for baby boy when he gets older)
wanting / to dive into something creative and constructive…
enjoying / internet disconnect
What I’m Wearing (Forever 21 v-neck tee & pumps, Bella Band, Old Navy Rockstar printed skinnies (now only $25), Zara blazer, Marc by Marc Jacobs slouch clutch)
Going on now until the 2nd of October, pick up Old Navy skinnies for as low as $19 (get your hands on printed, coated, tuxedo, and snakeskin styles to diversify your fall style!). Truth be told I was dying to get my hands on a pair of the slick coated jeans (who doesn’t love a pair of leather lookalikes for fall – and at such a price), but alas the size stars were not aligned in my favor this time! Now that I am 4 months into my pregnancy (and noticing some extra chub adding on all round), I’m thanking my lucky stars I can still fit into all my clothes (sometimes with a little help from the infamous Bella Band). I’m hoping I can get away with minor modifications to my existing wardrobe throughout the coming months while still indulging in sweet and satisfying style finds (with price tags to match!).
P.S. Felt my little man kick/move around last week – felt like bubbles in my belly (and still blowing my mind a bit – such a sweet surprise!).Posted under Sponsored Post, Uncategorized by Robyn
