514 Outfit Post – Old Navy Denim Sale & Exciting News!
If I’m being completely honest with you, this summer has left me feeling somewhat jipped (and I know I’m not the only one). Inconsistent weather and a general slow start to the season has made for what feels like a short stint in the sun. The closer fall comes, the more I yearn to travel and take off in exploration. Paris, San Fran, Italy… anywhere I can walk hand in hand with my man and savour a slower pace of life. We have so much beauty coming our way, that to pause and soak it all up for a moment would be nothing short of bliss.
In light of my road trip/jet-set/backpack cravings, comes the perfect sale on the ever-ideal and stylishly functional apparel to take you there. Stock up on Old Navy’s collection of premium denims starting at only $19 a pair, from now until the 29th. I had a lot of fun tweaking these outfit post pics with cartoon elements – and I’ve gotta say, if you haven’t already tried Old Navy denim fits, they will surprise even the pickiest!
What I’m Wearing…
- Old Navy Classic Chambray shirt in light
- Old Navy Rockstar Tuxedo-Stripe Jeans
- Miss Mak convertible suede fanny pack bag (essential for jet-set!)
- Louboutin pigalles
I later switched up my denim with these printed Rockstar numbers, paired them with my strappiest Steve Madden stilettos (oddly my most comfortable pair of sandals this season), unbuttoned a few holes of the denim shirt and braided a hair crown for a more carefree look. Gotta love simplicity!
And in other news…
The man and I are expecting our first little angel March 8th, 2014! Words cannot begin to express our excitement and anticipation to meet little one (currently merely the size of a prune). Here’s our first ultrasound at 2 1/2 months (we saw the tiny heart beating away, and bebe even did some flips and kicks for us while watching).
I’ve been really lucky with my symptoms – no nausea or morning sickness at all, no pain, no acne, barely any bloating… I feel like I’m getting away with something (fatigue and leg pain being the exceptions)! The pictures above are me at 9 1/2 weeks (still feeling good in my normal attire). My main craving? Peaches, all the time (and baskets at that). More updates to come, but how nice it feels to scream it from the rooftops finally!
