A Grand Prix Getaway with Ugg Australia
For those of you who follow formula 1, the race was in Montreal this past weekend (and I was graciously accommodated by Ugg Australia to soak in some up close and personal zoom zoom time). With little man in tow (and a hefty pair of earplugs to suit), we made our way to and from the Paddock club via three beautiful boat “shuttles”. The weather was perfect, and the breeze on the water blissful.
With a beautiful entry lounge showcasing their summer 2014 collection (Ugg is so much more than just their beloved sheepskin boots), I checked out their latest styles for men and women before heading over to the lounge. Having bought a pair of their sandals years ago (and fully understanding how comfortable and high quality they are), it was fun to see their adapted loafer and espadrille models out to play.
Ombre for boys!
While I didn’t stay too long (I was a little nervous about overstimulation for little one), the Ugg area provided an amazing view (not to mention grub and refreshments – hello crab legs!) laced with local and international celebrities alike (the man had a bit of a freakout when I got home and told him Alan Thicke was amongst the day’s attendees). Saw some old friends, and had the pleasure of making a few new!
Thank you so much Ugg for allowing my boy his first F1 experience in utmost style and intrigue (at less than three months no less)! This past weekend is surely one of those memories that will not only forever replay in my mind, but will definitely be told time and time again as Nolan grows up. As for me, well I’m a total sucker for those awesomely complimentary boat rides (and paying credit to impressive automobile speeds).
Time to enjoy my new kicks (and a little two step to said song below… a tad obsessed with it as of late)…
