Adopt A Polar Bear With Kiehl’s Limited Edition Ultra Facial Cream

Adopt A Polar Bear With Kiehl’s Limited Edition Ultra Facial Cream

Sorry I haven’t been keeping up my usual posting momentum folks – saturday afternoon I came down with a horrible fever that’s still lingering.

Of course when it rains, it pours…

The man has been feeling his own array of seasonal ailments, and our building suffered a flooding from one of our neighbours (thankfully we weren’t affected due to a self-made barricade set up in front of our door).  All the while maintaining appointments for little Mr., conquering mass amounts of laundry, and the ongoing daily chores/errands that never cease to repeatedly pop up of course.

Nolan is officially 3 weeks old.  He loves to look at lights, is starting to flash intentional smiles, and is the finest cuddler you’ll ever meet!  He also just adopted a polar bear (how cool right?).

Thanks to the good folks at Kiehl’s, my boy was gifted a little stuffy and Canadian Wildlife Federation certificate proudly showcasing his adoption of one of these beautiful animals.  I love this initiative of theirs so much I just have to share…

“Sales from the Limited Edition Label Ultra Facial Cream will be used by Kiehl’s to symbolically adopt 300 polar bears as part of the CWF Adopt a Species program.  The Canadian Wildlife Federation will use the Kiehl’s adoption funds to support a research project to help better understand the future of polar bears in the North and ensure their land, marine, and sea ice habitat is conserved so that they continue to thrive. This research will also help us understand how climate change may affect the bears so we can plan for their conservation in the face of a rapidly changing environment.  Through “Kiehl’s Gives” initiatives to date, the brand has raised over $2,000,000 for environmental issues worldwide.”

Beyond the obvious charitable perks of bagging this beauty salve for yourself (an updated version made for harsh climates of their original Ultra Facial Cream), is the collectable and quirky/urban logo design by Canadian multi-disciplinary artist Justin Broadbent.  The prettiest reminiscent of winter to stock your spring beauty shelves with!
