Fashionista Finds – Caru Skincare Co.
I’ve been really into bar soaps and baking soda as face wash lately. I love raiding the health food store for hand milled scents made for the whole body (my sensitive, acne-prone skin has been thanking me for it as a result). Never the fan of harsh makeup removers and stripping lotions, I take my face off at the end of the day by smothering makeup with a dollop of organic grapeseed oil, and following through with my “savon du jour” (because who doesn’t love an assortment?). I always follow up with a great serum and heavy night cream (but sometimes leave my skin to air out – the grapeseed pre-cleanse ensures my complexion doesn’t get dried out).
Over the years I’ve realized how much I love variety when it comes to my beauty routine, and have learnt to embrace it with a few tried and tested natural staples (keep me away from the Wholefoods skincare section!).
Currently loving – LUSH Cosmetic’s Fresh Facemask in Cosmetic Warrior (pinch your nose – this baby’s loaded with garlic).
For the organic and vegan-friendly cosmetic obsessed, Etsy shop fave Caru Skincare’s Activated Charcoal and Sea Salt bar soap is on my hit list (lets not simplify the underestimated and also add their Oily Skin Facial Kit and Tea Tree Pumice Hand Soap for good measure).
