I’ve always loved the energy around Halloween (Mad night especially). Taking delicious bite-sized treats and costume fun out of the equation, there’s something sacred about celebrating morose spirituality (isn’t there?)…
While I wouldn’t call myself anything close to clairvoyant, I’ve been known to get moments when the hairs on the back of my neck stand up for no particular reason. Call me crazy, but there’s definitely a peace that comes every 31st that can’t be copied the rest of the year. While enjoying the seasonalities of the month, I love remembering and reflecting on those loved and lost. They say Halloween is the day of the year where the spirit world is closest to the human dimension…
(The decor at my dad’s house – good job Martine!)
Looking forward to spending the evening with my man, snuggled up and thankful for all the love in (and that has passed through) our lives.
P.S. Sadly, all I could garner up this year was a cat makeup costume (generic, I know)… I would have loved to have been Alex from Clockwork Orange (if only I had a resident bowler hat and suspenders on standby in my closet)!Posted under 514 Outfit Post, cosmetics, family, handmade, makeup, montreal, Uncategorized by Robyn
