My Month Via Instagram…
It’s been a nonstop month, the kind that catches up with you on days like today and makes you really pay for it (can’t seem to shake my tired swag, my coffee quota having already been long surpassed). The travel and new schedule have pushed my beloved yoga routine out of the way (to be re-started with a vengeance this friday), and I’ve allowed myself to lag a little in the preparation department (aka making a routine out of doing my makeup on the metro ride to work). It blows my mind how quickly each and every day escapes us. Processing information, interacting, and exhausting our every source of energy. Time to flashback…

Hi Robyn, I adore your new piercing, you are making me think about getting the same. Was it very painful? And if you don’t mind, where did you buy that earring?

@Myriam – thank you! I was surprised as to how not-painful it was actually. Just a bit of pressure, and it didn’t even feel sore after (only later in the week). I have had it a bit over two weeks now, and although it needs to be cared for with cleaning, it feels fairly healed up and comfortable (when you sleep it can be a tad hard to get comfortable without it being elevated. I bought my jewelry at the piercing studio (which you can also order from online – google Venus by Maria Tash, you’ll love the selection!). Good luck, and be sure to send me a pic if you do end up getting one!
